What we are looking for: Senior-level digital account executive or supervisor   

We are looking for someone to join our digital team. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of experience managing holistic digital marketing campaigns (social media, SEO, paid search, etc.) and day-to-day interactions for multiple clients at one time. We are looking for someone who not only has the strategic ideas but the capability to execute them. We are also looking for a team member that can manage and foster client relationships, so attending client meetings and offering recommendations is a key factor.

You’ll be a key player in developing digital strategies and executing against strategies for a wide range of DEVENEY clients in the areas of crisis, hospitality and tourism, food and beverage, medical, higher education and more.

Crisis management capability, willingness and ability to work after hours or on weekends, if needed, and web development experience is preferred.

DEVENEY Fundamentals

  • Provides consultation to account teams, help them to elevate their digital expertise and become better stewards of their clients’ marketing budgets
  • Works closely with account teams and project managers to improve their ability to deliver valued digital marketing counsel to clients and colleagues
  • Provides optimization recommendations and identify organic growth opportunities
  • Integrates our clients paid, earned and owned efforts so that all are working together to drive conversion
  • Spearheads digital response strategies
  • Develops new digital business proposals and capabilities presentations
  • Makes tactical marketing recommendations that optimize campaigns and improve marketing performance
  • Identifies where/when we need to call in outside subject matter experts to improve results
  • Highlights digital best practices and help teams implement them to the best of our abilities
  • Works with the Creative Department to develop strategic engagement plans
  • In coordination with the full team, plays a key role on the crisis team helping to manage difficult online situations
  • Oversees social manager in content development, community management and analytics for social media campaigns
  • Conducts comprehensive digital audits and competitive analyses
  • Oversees search specialist in developing strategies for successful SEO & paid search implementation
  • Ensures that department is communicating findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner in written, oral and presentation forms
  • Oversees developers (freelance or full-time) as digital producer (liaison between developers and account team)
  • Advises on scope development for all digital projects, including websites, social media, search and email programs.

  • Mentors and trains other members of the DEVENEY team to broaden teams’ overall interactive knowledge

Agency and Client Relationships

  • Collaborates with the wider team – leadership, designers, copywriters, art directors, interactive art directors, developers, consultants, production – to agree on appropriate resources and ensure high-quality work is executed on time and on budget
  • Acts as the agency expert regarding ensuring the social media marketing needs of every client are met effectively while adhering to best practices and current trends
  • Becomes the DEVENEY authority on the client’s social media business needs, competitors, business challenges, opportunities and industry trends
  • Can easily quantify how much time different social media marketing tactics take to concept, design and implement

Strategic and Innovative Thinking

  • Ensures that everything produced meets DEVENEY standards and delivers against the brand strategy and business objectives
  • Participates in brand discussions, client workshops, brainstorms and development of strategic engagement plans
