Associate Positions

Students and recent graduates: apply to be a PR, digital, or creative associate. It’s more than an internship, it’s real experience.



PR Associates at DEVENEY will enjoy autonomy on project opportunities on the DEVENEY team in the planning and implementation on a variety of daily projects. Each Associate will work in the areas of LifeSTYLE, LifeCARE and Crisis to develop skills, such as:

·         Media and community relations

·         Crisis management

·         Strategizing

·         Event planning

Associates are immersed in client projects while assisting client leads with daily tasks, such as:

·         Building media lists

·         Media pitching

·         Developing content

·         Industry research


Digital Associates at DEVENEY can expect to work on a variety of social media,

Daily tasks for a Digital Associate include:

·         Producing content schedules

·         Utilizing analytic platforms

·         Scheduling for multiple accounts

·         Drafting copy and creating imagery


Creative Associates work with a team of graphic designers to conceptualize ideas, create mood boards and design tangibles for all DEVENEY clients. From billboards to brainstorming a new logo, Creative Associates are involved in every step of the art development process. A wide range of skills is required for all Creative Associates including the ability to manipulate words, pictures,

Creative Associates should be proficient in the entire Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) as well as web languages and development (CSS3, HTML, Dreamweaver, WordPress, Javascript).

Daily projects and tasks include:

·         Layout and design changes

·         Resizing images

·         RFP development

·         Creating unique artwork


Associates are expected to work 20 hours a week. Associates pursuing a degree in mass communication, marketing, digital marketing/communication, graphic design, advertising, or related majors are required.

·         GPA 3.0 or above

·         Undergraduate students, Juniors or Seniors only

·         Recent graduates may apply

·         Availability for 20 hours/week

·         Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

·         Written and verbal communications skills

·         Ability to manage and meet deadlines; time management skills

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
