In recent years, DEVENEY has won numerous awards for our work designing and redesigning websites for clients like Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses, a New Orleans cultural organization dedicated to historic preservation and education, and Keep Louisiana Beautiful, the state’s anti-litter and community improvement organization focused on education, enforcement, awareness and cleanups.
Despite the varied missions of each organization, the process of designing or redesigning a website is always the same. First, we carefully outline the user experience/user interface (UX|UI) for the client’s ideal audience. We then begin designing the website with a variety of platforms including WebFlow and WordPress.
Although this process is quite intensive, we’ve boiled down the steps needed to create a simple landing page. Of course, the example we use is for a fake New Orleans doughnut shop, because who wouldn’t like more doughnuts?
