Ever wonder what Florida is like in November? Well, Foo Foo Festival in Pensacola is a big reason to flock to the Sunshine State every fall. It’s a 12-day offering of unique artistic shows and events, including US Navy’s Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show at NAS Pensacola, ballets, operas, culinary events, songwriter showcases, concerts and many more unordinary and extraordinary cultural events in between.

The eclectic, fun-filled fest runs Nov. 3-14, this year, in historic downtown Pensacola.

Earlier this year, DEVENEY was named Foo Foo’s new agency partner, leading public relations and social media efforts for the popular event. This is another account win this year for DEVENEY’s hospitality practice group, as the firm was recently named agency of record for Emeril’s Homebase and all the restaurants located in New Orleans, including the newest concept, Meril. In February, DEVENEY also signed with the Louisiana-based Bayou Rum, distributed by New York-based Stoli Group USA.

“We’re honored and thrilled to represent Foo Foo Festival to promote the numerous cultural treasures of Pensacola,” said DEVENEY President John Deveney, ABC, APR, Fellow PRSA, IABC Fellow. “This is a wonderful opportunity for our talented team to leverage our expansive tourism and hospitality experience for one of Florida’s great destinations to ensure a successful 2016 event.”

If you can’t make it to Foo, be sure to follow the many happenings on Facebook and Twitter – from the Big Green Egg® Festival, a live mural painting on the Jefferson Street garage and Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival to the Pensacola Marathon – there’s just about something for everyone seeking a rich, cultural experience.
